1. (vv. 1-14) Please read, be prepared to discuss and answer these questions about the parable of the wedding feast. a) who is the king, marriage, son, and those invited to the wedding first? b) what is described in vv. 4-6? c) what might be being foretold about in v. 7? d) who are the secondary guests invited? e) Why was the man thrown out into outer darkness?
2. (vv.15-22) How were the Pharisees trying trap Jesus concerning paying taxes? What does Jesus’ answer teach us about our responsibilities as Christians?
3. (vv. 23-33) Why did the Sadducees bring this question before Jesus? How does Jesus answer the question? What can be implied from v. 32?
4. (vv. 34-40) Why do you believe Jesus calls these the 2 greatest commandments?
5. (vv. 41-46) What about this interaction with the Pharisees cause them to not question Jesus again after this point?
