What is truth?  Can we make it go away today?

  3. What is “perpetual backsliding?” (ESV Jeremiah 8:5)  Can we be guilty of it today?

  4. What wisdom does someone have who has rejected the word of the Lord? (Jeremiah 8:9)

  5. At the end of chapter 8, it is pointed out that God is in Zion and the king sits on the throne.  Everything appeared to be good and right. The prophets supported this by saying “Peace, Peace!” Can we be fooled by this type of “peace” today? What is the best defense against such “peace”?
