The people of Judah and Jerusalem were
astonished when the destruction of Jerusalem occurred. They had been led astray by the false
prophets who were proclaiming peace (Jeremiah 4:9-10). What lessons can we
learn from this so we are not taken away by false doctrine and astonished on
the day of judgment?
Some may read sections of the Bible such Jeremiah
4:11-13 and claim “it’s just too hard to understand.” Why is it not essential to understand that this
section of scripture is talking about the power of Babylon?
