You Can Be A Priest of the Order of Melchizedek!

Genesis 14:15-20 – History of the meeting of Abram and the King of Salem and priest of God Most High, Melchizedek

 

Psalm 110:4 – First reference to the priesthood of Melchizedek

 

Hebrews 4:14-5:11 – Christ, the High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek

 

Hebrews 6:19-7:10 –Jesus is of the order of Melchizedek, who was king of righteousness and king of peace, without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, but made like the Son of God. Levites still in the loins of Abram paid tithes and tribute to Melchizedek, King of Salem and priest of the Most High God.

 

Hebrews 7:11-19 – Jesus of the tribe of Judah, but made of a priesthood superior to the Levitical Priesthood.

 

Hebrews 7:20-28 – A better covenant and a better priesthood, available to all!

 

1 Peter 2:4-10 – Peter describes the blessings of the priesthood of Jesus according to the order of Melchizedek. Priests are to be lively stones, offering up spiritual sacrifices, proclaiming the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, and created in Christ for good works (Ephesians 2:8-10).

 

Revelation 1:4-6 – Today you can become a Christian and be a priest in this everlasting priesthood!
