The Oak Ridge church of Christ assembles each Sunday and Wednesday, and you're invited to come study and worship with us. As our honored guest, you'll never be asked for money or embarrased in any way. You are free to come and participate in as much or as little of our assembly as you wish. Let us know if you need a ride to our assembly, and one of our members will be glad to help you with transportation. Here is a brief description of what to expect when you visit one of our meetings.
Sunday Bible Study
Starting at 9:00 AM, we spend 50 minutes studying God's Word. Teachers lead a class for the adults
along with several classes for the children. Start your week off right by joining us as we search
the Scriptures together.
Sunday Worship
At 10:00 AM, we begin two hours of worship to the Creator. We begin with prayers, a reading from
the Scriptures, congregational singing, a Gospel sermon, and a collection. After a short break,
we continue with more singing, prayers, and a message of encouragement. Our worship culminates
in the Lord's Supper, a memorial of Jesus.
Wednesday Bible Study
We gather at 7:00 PM on Wednesday to study the Bible and edify one another. For 50 minutes,
the adults engage in discussion of spiritual matters while the children learn the basics of
God and his plan for saving mankind. Our study is followed by a brief exhortation, a couple
of songs, and a prayer.
